Where We Work

In May 2008, CPER made its second round of grants. To date, the Fund has invested more than $4.8 million in grants and technical assistance to 19 education-organizing and allied groups and two coalitions (involving nine additional organizations) in Chicago, Denver, New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania. Sites were selected based on several criteria, including local funders' willingness to commit at least three years of support and the existence of high-quality education-organizing work on the ground.
