Research for Action (RFA) is a Philadelphia-based, nonprofit organization engaged in education, research and evaluation. Founded in 1992, RFA works with public school districts, educational institutions and community organizations to improve the educational opportunities for those traditionally disadvantaged by race/ethnicity, class, gender, language/cultural differences and ability/disability.

CPER Funded Project

RFA's CPER-funded work includes:

  • Helping the SEPA CPER partners understand what data are available and developing systems for access;
  • Responding to ongoing data/research needs that grow out of the collaborative's work;
  • Meeting the SEPA CPER organizing groups' individual and/or combined data needs as connected to their campaign goals; and
  • Producing data and research findings.
